Fall Mini Sessions

Payment. The Client shall make payment in full for session fee in order to retain services for the agreed upon session date.

Cancellation. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your session time. Mini Sessions run on a very tight schedule and the allotted time is the only time you have. There will be no refunds or guaranteed reshoots available. If you are more than 10 minutes late your session and session fee will be forfeited. Due to the way mini sessions are scheduled, if you cancel within one week of the session, payment is still due for the reservation of your time slot.

Weather and Rain Dates. In the event of rain or extreme winds during your scheduled session time, the Photographer reserves the right to postpone the session for one of the listed rain dates below. During the week leading up to your session, the Photographer will monitor the weather forecast on a daily basis. If there is a chance of rain on session day, the hour-by-hour radar and forecast will also be monitored. The Photographer will contact you either the night before or the day of you session via email or text message should sessions need to be postponed. Postponements will be decided no later than 2 hours before the start of that day's mini sessions. Rain date sessions will take place at the originally scheduled location and times. If you cannot make the rain date set by the photographer, a full refund will be issued. Rain Dates: Sunday, October 9, Sunday, October 16) Rain dates will be scheduled for the closest date after your original session date.

Photo Gallery. An online gallery of images will be available to you no later than 3 weeks after your photo session to purchase, view, and download images. The gallery will expire 2 months after it is sent to you. A $25 fee will be charged to reactivate an expired gallery.

Copyright and Reproductions. The Photographer shall own the copyright in all images created and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions. The Photographer shall only make reproductions for the Client or for the Photographer’s portfolio, samples, self-promotions, entry in photographic contests or art exhibitions, editorial use, or for display on the Photographer’s website and social media. If the Photographer desires to make other uses, the Photographer shall not do so without first obtaining the written permission of the Client.

Client’s Usage. The Client is obtaining prints for personal use only, and shall not sell said prints or authorize any reproductions thereof by parties other than the Photographer.

Failure to Perform I. If the Photographer cannot perform this Agreement due to a fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the Photographer’s illness, then the Photographer shall return the deposit to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event the Photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the Photographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the retail value of the Client’s order.

Failure to Perform II. The Photographer is not responsible for failure to perform by any family member participating in your photo session.

Photographer’s Standard Price List. The charges in this Agreement are based on the Photographer’s Standard Price List. This price list is adjusted periodically and future orders shall be charged at the prices in effect at the time when the order is placed.

Prints and Products. The Photographer will not be liable for any prints or products ordered from consumer labs other than the print and product service offered exclusively through Lauren Watley Studio.

File Storage. Your images will be kept on file for one year after your session. After that time, the Photographer reserves the right to purge your images from their computers and hard drives.
